We had opposed the exploitative nature of the fast fashion industry and the overuse of plastic in our society. We created quality, timelessly designed products that meet the highest ethical and sustainable standards from the start, from when the cotton seeds are planted, to the very end, when it reaches you. That's our promise.

After they were made redundant by a large multi-national without lawful compensation a group of mostly women sewing factory workers based in Thailand banded together to fight for their legal rights. Their success in mobilising led them to create a new factory, established as a worker's cooperative where each worker has a direct vote in decisions. They work free of threat and exploitation and are paid a fair wage. We are proud to partner with this worker's cooperative for sewing our products.

25% of the world’s pesticides and 10% of the world’s synthetic fertilisers are used to grow non-organic cotton, which covers less than 3% of the world’s farmland. Processing of conventional cotton uses toxic dyes and bleaches that remain in the finished fabric. Workers at these farms and mills are often exploited and exposed to these harmful chemicals. Using GOTS Certified Organic Cotton fabric is a guarantee of international labour and environmental standards. This is the fabric that we use for all of our products.
